1/2 DAY and TWILITE halfday sportfishing

Newport Landing Sportfishing offers three ½ day open party fishing trips daily. Fishing areas from Long Beach to Dana Point including the productive waters off of Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach.
½ day trips average about 5 to 6 hours in length with the first open party morning ½ day trip departing at 6am returning at 12 pm. The second afternoon ½ day trip departs at 12:30 pm and returns at 5:30 pm. The Third twilight ½ day fishing trip departs at 7pm and returns at roughly 12 am.
A huge variety of fish can be caught on the half day fishing trips with white sea bass, halibut, yellowtail, and even yellowfin tuna a possibility. The most common fish caught include calico bass, sand bass, barracuda, bonito, sheepshead, sculpin, and at least a dozen other species.

	The Nautilus is our primary ½ day open party boat and offers an upstairs sundeck with full amenity snack bar/kitchen to make the brief cruise to the fishing grounds scenic and relaxing. Fish cleaning services are available onboard. For a small fee your catch is filleted and ready for the grill. Deep sea fishing gear rental for every type of ocean fishing trip, as well as numerous accessories, such as hats, sport sunscreen, and sunglasses, to name just a few are all available at our full service onsite tackle store.
